A BRIGHT AND SHINY NEW YEAR

TRADE SHOW TRAVELS

The winter trade shows are upon us and the J. Berry team looks forward to connecting with you at the following events:

Jim, Jonathan, Tamara and Keith will be in Baltimore January 9-11 for for MANTS. You can catch them on the show floor or visit our grower partners listed below who are also recognizable by their Black Diamond or Hollywood Hibiscus signage and swag at both MANTS and TPIE.

Additionally we are a proud to be a gold sponsor of MANTS and a silver sponsor of the SNA Conference which occurred January 7-8 prior to MANTS.

Next up we’ll be heading south to Ft. Lauderdale for FNGLA’s TPIE Show. Once again, you’ll find J. Berry in Booth 1801 where we’ll be featuring our latest new introductions including Rico Suave™ and Heartbreaker™ Hollywood™ Hibiscus, Lemon & Gin™ and our hit Cabanna™ Cannas™ and the Crown Jewel™ Begonias. We’re a show sponsor too; please visit the New Produce Showcase for a VIP Hollywood Hibiscus Photo Shoot!

While the team is in sunny Florida, Bill Malouche of National Nursery Products will represent us at The Western in Kansas City, January 16-18. At the show, we’ll have three plants that will make their formal debut in the Plant Fashion Show: Cordon Bleu™ Summer Spice™ Hardy Hibiscus, Sweetheart™ Gardenia and Rico Suave™ Hollywood™ Hibiscus.

Last, but certainly not least, J. Berry goes global as we will be exhibiting at IPM Essen in Germany. We’ll be located in Hall 2, Booth 2A31. This is our second year displaying at Essen and we’ll feature our Crown Jewel™ Begonias, Summer Spice™ Hardy Hibiscus and Hollywood™ Hibiscus.

OUR TEAM CONTINUES TO GROW

Lisa Enochs We are proud to announce the following talented individuals who have recently joined J. Berry:

John Wilson is our new Young Plants Division Manager. John brings over 40 years of experience in the horticulture field to J. Berry, from being Operations Manager at one of the early young plant companies, Colorado Cuttings in Lafayette, CO, to being General Manager for Pacific Plug and Liner in Watsonville, CA. John has also held positions as General Manager/Operations Manager for two separate top 100 companies. Most recently John was Corporate Head Grower for Seville Farms here in Texas.

We also welcome Lisa Enochs as our new Account Manager. Lisa was most recently employed at Altman’s Plant Farm for over four years. As such she is well versed in all aspects of the business and we know her experience will serve our customers well.
