DR. DAVID L. MORGAN
DR. DAVID L. MORGAN grew up on a cattle ranch in South Texas and attended schools in Uvalde. He received his B.S. degree in Agricultural Journalism and his Master’s and Ph.D. degrees in Horticulture from Texas A&M University, and has been a journalist and horticulture professor and researcher his entire career.
David was a journalist in the Navy, a newspaper reporter and was editor of several horticultural magazines. He retired as Associate Professor of Horticulture at Texas Tech University and the Texas Agricultural Experiment Station of Texas A&M University. He has been Secretary-Treasurer of the Southern Region of the International Plant Propagators’ Society for 22 years. He was the editor of Nursery Management and Production for many years. He was a regional editor of the American Nurseryman. He is currently a contributing writer for several horticultural publications. He is an adjunct professor in horticulture at Tarrant County College.
